She Leads Tech

On The Red Carpet At The Universal Hilton

We are honored to invite you to join us for a special ISACA Los Angeles SheLeadsTech Event on Wednesday, October 2, 2019.

Diversity in the technology workforce continues to be a societal concern, and a major workforce problem, given the critical shortage of skilled technology professionals faced by many enterprises.

Throughout its 50 year history, the ISACA Los Angeles chapter has been a strong supporter of the profession and of women in IT. We believe in the empowerment of women in technology and leadership that creates inclusive environments that are critical to sustaining the profession. Please join us, at Universal City Hilton, as we come together to elevate awareness and inclusion in the profession through networking, speaker stories about their leadership journey, and breakout sessions led by moderators.

We’ll kick-off the evening with a networking cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and fun conversation; followed by WITI coaching circles on pertinent topics being held by industry leaders and strategic partners.

Take advantage of this unique networking event, for men and women, in all stages of their education and careers!

We also welcome volunteers who are passionate about SheLeadsTech to lead and contribute in the chapter, including male allies interested in being SheLeadsTech Ambassadors. Please email [email protected].

Caitlin M. Gremminger

Caitlin M. Gremminger

Special Agent FBI Counterintelligence

Our key speaker, Caitlin Gremminger has been a Special Agent with the FBI since 2006.  While the majority of her career was engaged in working Counterintelligence matters in Los Angeles, SA Gremminger also enjoyed two years investigating bank robberies. She has been a Crisis Negotiator since 2008 through which she has been deployed to numerous crisis situations and kidnappings, including Manila to assist with a kidnapping and South Korea to teach Crisis Negotiation to U.S. Military personnel. In May 2017, SA Gremminger became the Counterintelligence Strategic Partnership Coordinator, where she spends her time collaborating with companies in the greater Los Angeles area on cyber threats, insider threats and national security concerns.

Caitlin Gremminger was inspired to pursue a career in engineering due to a keen interest in computers and with support from engineers in her family. After a few years in engineering, Caitlin transitioned to a career with the FBI, once again due to inspirational role models. The team at the FBI encouraged her, when she saw that she could take action, to solve problems in a meaningful way.

Caitlin chose not to accept any obstacles related to gender or ability; she was encouraged to pursue what she wasinterested in, namely a career in cybersecurity with the FBI. She will talk about the changes she made in her career path, and how that can inspire attendees to pursue a career interest and/or career change. Caitlin is committed to sparking interest in women to go for the challenge, opportunity and excitement of a career in STEAM, (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics).
