ISACA chapters and staff are exemplifying our purpose, promise, and values with a day of service around the world. Not only can we help individuals realize the positive potential of technology, but together, we can help people realize the positive potential of ISACA’s global society.
On October 5, 2019, we will start in New Zealand at the stroke of midnight and circle the globe live with you, capturing your pictures and excitement as events unfold throughout this 24-hour annual event the first Saturday in October. We will host a live feed highlighting many of the ways ISACA is making a difference.
The Los Angeles Chapter is hosting multiple community service events in the surrounding cities to participate in this first-ever annual CommunITy Day. From preparing care packages for troops to participating in walks, we are excited to invite you to sign up for one or more events using the volunteer sign-up tool, Helper Helper. Sign-up instructions can be found here. Attendance is tracked using this user-friendly tool so ISACA can track the larger impact we are making around the globe. All participants will receive an ISACA CommunITy Day t-shirt (size is entered when creating a new Helper Helper account). Keep in mind, every volunteer must create a Helper Helper account.
How do I help build excitement? Use #ISACACommunITyDay on social media to be included in the live feed the day of the event. Invite friends and family (as appropriate for the activity) to participate with you! Follow the hashtag to discover activities taking place around the world!
