Jonathan Chan

Jonathan Chan (CISA, CISM, CISSP)

President (2nd Term)

Jonathan is a senior manager with Deloitte’s Cyber Risk Services practice with over 10 years of management consulting and information technology experience. His most recent work include large-scale ERP security implementations, cyber risk assessments, and deploying enterprise-wide GRC solutions to help clients address operational, financial, and regulatory risk. Outside of work, Jonathan volunteers by delivering a cyber safety awareness program to schools, youth centers, and other community events with the goal of helping kids protect themselves online. He has presented this program to over 2,000 kids across the nation. Jonathan was appointed as the chapter Vice President in February 2017, and previously served as a Director on the chapter board.

Josh Chin

Josh Chin (CNSSI-4012, NSTISSI-4011)

Vice President (2nd Term)

Joshua Chin is a Founding Partner at Net Force. Joshua specializes in Cybersecurity, Strategy, Digital Forensics, and Technology. He is currently an active member in HTCIA and ISACA. Joshua has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration: Computer Information Systems from Cal-Poly Pomona and a Master of Science in Business Administration: Information Assurance from Cal-Poly Pomona. He is an advocate for cybersecurity programs such as the U.S. Cyber Challenge and Cambridge2Cambridge. He is also the Past President of the Southern California (SoCal) Chapter of HTCIA.

Michael is an IT Risk and Compliance Manager at East West Bank. He is an IT enterprise risk and information security specialist with 9 years of industry experience in developing and managing risk as an analyst, engineer, project manager, and department manager. He has managed 20 contractors as a managed services program manager, been involved in 60+ projects as a project manager or software engineer SME, and conducted IT Risk and Business continuity/disaster recovery reviews, assessments, and exercises across the US, China, Hong Kong, and India.

Daniel Razmjou

Treasurer

Daniel has over 12 years of professional experience in Finance, IT and Healthcare. He is currently pursuing his career as a Computer Information Systems lecturer at California State University – Los Angeles where he graduated with a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management, a Master of Science in Information Systems, and two degrees of Bachelor of Science in Finance and Computer Information Systems.

He has developed skills in asset protection, loss prevention, project management, accounting, leadership, finance, computer information systems, data analytics and cyber security throughout his academic and professional work experience across multiple industries. Additionally, he is actively obtaining additional computer information systems and other industry leading certifications to further educate himself and adapt to current industry practices.

Amanda Xu (CISA, CISM)

Amanda is the Head of the Third Party Risk Management at East West Bank. Amanda has over 25 years of experience in Operational Risk, IT Risk, IT Governance and Compliance, PMO, Vendor Management, Information Security, and Audit. Amanda received a Master’s of Science Degree in Business Administration/Information Systems Auditing and a Bachelor Degree from Cal Poly Pomona. She has held various positions in the LA Chapter including President, Vice President, Secretary, Academic Relations Chair, and a volunteer for the 2002 to 2012 Spring Conferences. She is currently serving the chapter as a Director and Membership Chair.

Anna Carlin (CISA)

Anna is a CIS Instructor at Fullerton College. She teaches Introduction to Computer Forensics, Network Forensics, Personal Computer Security, and Introduction to Information Systems in the Business and CIS Division, Computer Information Systems Department. Anna leads the internship efforts for CyberWatch West, a National Science Foundation grant to support workforce, curriculum and professional development in cyber security. She also has over 15 years of experience in IT audit, software development, and operations management. Anna is currently serving the chapter as a Director and Academic Relations Chair.

Kelly Lin

Kelly is AVP-IT Audit Lead with East West Bank. She was a Senior IT Auditor with KPMG, and was previously a Financial Auditor. She received her Bachelor Degree in Accounting and Computer Information Systems from California State University, Los Angeles. She currently serves the chapter as a Director, Volunteer Committee Chair, and Spring Conference Registrar, and previously served as the Treasurer and Programs Committee Chair.

Michael Herman (CISA)

Michael works in the PwC SoCal Cybersecurity & Privacy (C&P) practice as a Manager, and has over 12 years experience leading projects related to Risk & Controls, Information Security, and Technology consulting. He works within today’s diverse business environments, with experience ranging from Cybersecurity framework assessment, integrated technology audit and regulatory compliance, internal audit outsourcing and compliance consulting services.  Additionally, he has spent time working on system implementation reviews, IT privacy and security assessments, IT deficiency remediation, as well as continuous controls monitoring efforts in both public and private sectors. Michael has previously served on the ISACA LA Board of Directors, and enjoys participating in and organizing chapter activities. Outside of work, Michael is an avid cyclist, and has biked from SF to LA multiple times as part of #TeamPwC on the AIDS/Lifecycle ride.

Patricia Benoit (MBA, PMP, CISM, GSEC)

Patricia is currently Senior Manager of Risk & Compliance at Southern California Edison. She is an enterprise risk management, cybersecurity, audit, and compliance leader with a track record of success in program and project implementation, strategic planning, risk management, team development, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration. Management strengths include leadership, strategic planning and business case development, relationship management, risk management and controls, team development, and process improvement. Demonstrated ability to build consensus within teams. Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; easily builds positive working relationships with associates, managers, and senior executives.

Sean Mulyanto-Mong

Sean is a Director in KPMG’s Los Angeles IT Advisory (ITA) practice and assists companies in optimizing business processes and meeting regulatory requirements. He has had experience performing business process and control reviews within the, retail, financial services, public sector, and automotive financial industries. He has extensive knowledge in identifying, evaluating, and testing information technology and business process controls. His technical experience includes knowledge of Oracle, PeopleSoft, Mainframe, Network and hardware configurations, and administration of various operating systems. Sean is also focused in the Data & Analytics (D&A) sector and has developed and executed data analytic test scripts around company expenses to provide spending trending analysis and dashboard presentations to the CFO. Additionally he has executed data analytic scripts for Procure to Pay and Vendor Management processes in order to provide business process improvement solutions.

Nelson Gibbs (CISA, CISM, CGEIT, CRISC)

Nelson was a First Vice President of Internal Audit at East West Bank and is currently retired. He has over 23 years of experience in IT, encompassing roles with operational, professional services, consulting, and auditing responsibilities. He is a frequent industry publication contributor and a regular speaker at local, national and international technology conferences and seminars for ISACA, The IIA, ISSA, and MISTI. He received his MBA in Information Technology from UC Irvine, and his Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from UC Santa Barbara. He has volunteered for several ISACA chapter roles including instructing the CISA review course. Nelson is currently serving his first term as President, and previously served as a Director on the board.
