Dinner Meeting Topic: IT Audit Implications of COSO 2013   Many companies are in the process of implementing the COSO 2013 Internal Control-Integrated Framework, and IT auditors and information security professionals will serve a critical role in the overall success of these implementations. During this presentation, Paul Smedegaard and Ignasi Mas will provide an overview of COSO 2013, as well as insights for IT auditors and information security professionals implementing COSO 2013. Paul Smedegaard, Risk Consulting Director, KPMG LLP Paul has nearly 20 years of IT audit and information security experience. Paul’s experience includes managing large complex projects including information technology and business process reviews, IT attestation engagements, and developing/implementing security solutions. Prior to joining KPMG, Paul was an Information Systems and Communication Officer in the United States Air Force. Ignasi Mas, Manager, KPMG LLP   Ignasi has over 6 years of international experience in IT attestation and risk assessment. His areas of focus are internal and external audits, specializing in SOX and IT processes supporting business processes.
