Dear ISACA Member:The Information Systems Audit and Control Association’s (ISACA) Los Angeles Chapter’s Los Angeles next Meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 13th, 2012, at Monterey Hill Restaurant. The topic of the meeting will be “SSAE 16.”We will have Sunny He, Manager, and Nathan Hutchings, Director, both from PwC, to share with us on “SSAE 16.” During our Pre-Meeting, Richard Chew and Josh Chin will address the new AICPA & ISACA SSAE 16 SOC 2 User’s Guide. They will also facilitate a discussion on statutory breach law updates. We hope you will join us then and take this opportunity to network and learn more from this rich information session. |

Sunny is a Manager in the Risk Assurance practice at PwC. Sunny manages both external audit and internal audit projects for his clients, and focuses on information technology risks and controls. Sunny manages SSAE 16 (SOC 1) and AT101 projects for clients in several industry sectors including banking, insurance, and online services. Sunny also advises his clients on how to utilize SSAE 16 reports and other reports that they receive from their service providers.Nate is a Director with PwC in the Risk Assurance practice, primarily focusing on both Third Party Assurance (TPA) and Process Assurance engagements in the SoCal/Phoenix market. He currently serves a number of clients in both the Financial Services and Technology sectors on both SOX audit and TPA engagements. In addition, he also serves in the role as the market’s TPA leader responsible for the strategic growth of TPA work in the market and leads a core TPA team of managers and seniors to help achieve those goals. He also has been serving as the West Coast representative for the firm’s national TPA methodology group, actively developing guidance, templates, and methodology primarily for AT 101 and SOC 1/2/3, and acts as a resident expert and SME for TPA in the market. | Nate is a Director with PwC in the Risk Assurance practice, primarily focusing on both Third Party Assurance (TPA) and Process Assurance engagements in the SoCal/Phoenix market.
