June Annual General Meeting
Customer Identity: Path from Risk & Compliance to Business Enablement
Abstract
Please join us for our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday, June 14th in person at the Luminarias Restaurant in Monterey Park, CA. As AGM is the last meeting for the 2021-2022 program year (we will resume in September 2022 with the annual Career Night event), come and network with your peers, meet new people, enjoy a delicious 3-course meal, and stay for the raffle! We will also be introducing the ISACA Los Angeles 2022-2023 officers and board directors.
We are delighted to have Jeffrey Buccola from Deloitte as the guest speaker focusing on customer identity and access management.
Great customer experiences rely on identity management; however, it is important those charged with protecting privacy and security appreciate the risks around the collection, storage, and management of consumers’ digital identities. As stricter privacy and consent regulations go into effect around the globe, and the incidence of fraud and cyberattacks proliferates, organizations will have to balance customer experience and usability with security and risk management.
In this presentation, we will discuss common drivers and market trends for Customer Identity Access Management (CIAM) that have transformed cyber risk into a strategic business consideration.
